about

I work from a Positive Psychology perspective am always interested in new mental/emotional health practices, the default in my work is a “here and now” approach or a Gestaltian perspective. Attachment to the past and fear of the future can get in the way of being able to live fully in the present. When we work together the hope is to feel more grounded, more able to work with your gifts and to accept yourself.

No matter what you are suffering from or what life has dealt you, balance and perspective can be achieved. When you decide to seek therapy you are making a commitment to yourself, taking a step toward relief. I have worked with people of all ages suffering from depression, grief, anxiety, fear, addiction, attention disorders, insomnia… as well as feelings of sadness, pain, and anger that they have not yet found words for.

I am a licensed Psychotherapist, with a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. I  interned with Family Service Agency of Burbank which serves adults and children.  My next placement was with Verdugo Mental Health Care with clients who are court mandated for therapy around drug addiction (among other things). In addition to my private practice I currently work with Family Service Agency of Burbank.

My office is located in Atwater Village, adjacent to Silverlake and Glendale. Sessions are generally 50 minutes in length and groups are varied.
